Casa de Los Gigantes has been connecting artisan communities throughout Guatemala with a market for their unique hand crafted goods for over 25 years. The social enterprise believes that artisanal crafts bring warmth and humanity to an increasingly technological and impersonal world, while simultaneously providing artisans with a dignified way of making a living. Casa de Los Gigantes encourages the artisan communities they work with to use only locally-sourced materials when crafting their handmade products. The organisation also directs funds into providing support and childcare for their artisans at a children’s library.
