Hand crafted pure copper and glass are masterfully melded together, to create this beautifully unique bowl. The blue acts as a wonderful counter point to the copper and both shine in their own right.
Durable, yet light weight, this bowl is created for everyday use. From keys by the front door, to jewellery by your bedside. Enamel is also food safe so you can use this beauty to bring some real elegance to your dining table too!
Each bowl is created through a five stage process that has been passed down through generations. From start to finish each one takes about two weeks to complete, each with it’s own design and signature swirl. Ensuring that each piece is completely one-of-a-kind.

Material: pure copper with enamel inlay

Care: hand wash in lukewarm water. Copper may discolour over time. Simply wipe with Brasso to bring back the beautiful copper lustre.
IMPACT
Established in 1980, Atelier Turkuvaz is a family business located in the outskirts of the historic city of Istanbul. A small collective of individual artisans still work the ancient craft of copper based enamelling. One of the aims of the group is to build new generational interest in this craft and by doing so establish lasting continuation in enamelling and a fair trade living wage for all.
All tabletop items created by Atelier Turkuvaz are lead-free and safe to use.
